Wellness+Connections is an entirely new concept and we are so excited to see how it benefits the health, fitness and abundance of our local community and provides inspiration and information far beyond our hometown. Friday, May 28, 2021 Update
We received inspections this week from Sussex County building inspectors for both the electrical installations and interior partition framing. We will be moving ahead this week within closing in the newly constructed areas. Our retail boutique area is nearly complete with cabinets installed and flooring installation to happen next. The W+C lounge/cafe area is receiving final touches next weeks with more new flooring installations scheduled also. Check back for more photos soon. Friday June 18, 2021 Update
Many thanks to the State of Delaware, Office of Food Protection for their review and approval of our Application to Construct a Food Establishment. The new kitchen is under construction and this should move forward swiftly. Many other updates coming! Please check back soon.
Update Saturday, June 19
We just completed the initial installation of our new walk-in cooler. This increased capacity will allow us to order, receive and distribute the freshest organic produce from our network of certified organic growers. We purchase from a local Amish cooperative in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and also from apple growers in Washington State and citrus producers in Florida and California. We also support local farmers producing greens on the Delmarva, Virginia, Maryland and New Jersey. If you are a certified organic producer please reach out to us. We want to hear from you!
